Cleaning & Maintaining Metal Products

1. Use a damp cloth to clean metal surface.
   
2. Use a dry cloth to absorb any moisture.
   
3. Chemicals such as thinners, solvents or commercial cleaners are not necessary and could potentially harm the product.
   
4. Touch up paint is provided and should be used when needed.
   
5. Water is not to be applied directly to the product.

Cleaning &Maintenance of Clear & Frosted Glass Products

Frosted Glass:

1. The frosted side is to be installed facing downward.  The clear side must face upward.
   
2. The frosted side is cleaned using water and a cotton (soft) cloth.  Using disposable paper towels or cloths will scratch the surface of the frosted glass.
   
3. Using pressure to remove resistant stains is encouraged.  The protective film/penetrated sealer is in no danger of being removed.
   
4. If a stain is difficult to remove, using a mild soap solution may be required.
   
5. Do not use glass cleaner or detergent to clean frosted glass surfaces. The protective film/penetrated sealer will eventually be removed or stained.  
   
6. Spills such as jelly, catsup, mustard or syrup can be cleaned with any non-abrasive, non-ammonia based cleaner, i.e.: warm water and soap or Fantastic 409.
   
7. Soil or hard to remove build up may require a soft-bristled brush.
   

Clear Glass:

1. The clear (non-frosted) side of glass can be cleaned with standard glass cleaners or detergents. Using conventional cleaning methods is acceptable.
   

Cleaning & Maintenance of Acrylic Products

1. Use only a very soft damp cloth when cleaning acrylic surfaces. It is possible to scratch acrylic, so NEVER use any scouring compounds or chemical cleaners such as Windex or other glass cleaners (even if they are environmentally friendly, organic or non-scented). 
   
2. Should anything ever stick to an acrylic surface (such as an adhesive label or gummy substance) do not use any type of solvent.
   
3. Never use the same cloth that you clean other household items with – it can retain dirt, grit, and chemical residues that may harm your acrylic items. We recommend using a new or separate cloth for your acrylic care.
   

For normal cleaning of acrylic we have had good success using Novus Products:

Keep your acrylic surfaces free from dust and dirt, with "Novus 1".  It's a clear, anti-static formula specially created to remove the negative charge that can attract dust and dirt to the surface of acrylic. It is easy to use: simply wipe on and wipe off!
